I will overwhelm 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
